Salsa Classes

Salsa Beginner – Special Offer $65 for 8 weeks
Tuesday 8:30pm-9:30pm (current class is full. Next session will be in September. Registration will be open first week of August)


Note: No classes on May 30th

An introduction course for beginners with little or no experience. Learn basic footwork, partner connection, pivot turns, cross body etc…

    Note: If the ratio of leads (men generally) vs follows (women generally) is high, registration numbers may be adjusted
  • No experience required

If your name is added to the waiting list, we will contact you if a spot is available. Names on the waiting list for the current session will NOT be transferred automatically to the next session as registration is first come – first served. Salsa Beginner Advanced – SUNDAY 2:00pm-3:00pm (all-year-round class)

Build on the basic skills from the previous level, learn variations of similar movements and new concepts, learn balancing techniques for spot turns and travelling turns.

  • Directional steps 
  • 360 hook step
  • Copa

Prerequisite: Salsa Beginner

Salsa Intermediate ON1 – Sunday 1:00pm-2:00pm (all-year-round class)

The goal at this measure is to improve confidence and consistency in leading and following. Dance at a faster tempo with more challenging turning patterns and learn tips to improve connection with your partner. This level transitions from dancing On1 to dancing On2.

  • Hammerlocks 
  • Hand flicks
  • Hand toss 
  • Waist wraps
  • Spin variations 
  • Shines & styling
  • Shoulder checks

Salsa Intermediate On2 – Sunday 12:00pm-1:00pm (all-year-round class)

Take your dancing to the next level by transitioning from dancing On1 to dancing On2. This timing On2 will allow you to connect with the rhythmic patterns of clave and tumbao played by the conga drum and the clave sticks.

  • Learn when to initiate and execute patterns On2
  • Train familiar skills on a different rhythmic count
  • Improve musically

Learn more intricate advanced patterns, shine routines, afro salsa skills and accents to improve musicality and self expression
